OBJECTIVE: This article provides instructions on how to enter notes for specific tasks that have been completed in MatrixCare.
- Check in to your shift and navigate to the Tasks tab.
- Check the box for each completed task and click Edit next to the task. Select the applicable option from the drop down menu.
- Do not check the box for tasks that have not been completed. Click Edit and select Other from the drop down menu. Leave a note as to why the shift was not completed.
- If a task is required (there is a required frequency for the task to be completed each treatment week), you will see a red asterisk (*) indicating that it must be completed, or a note must be entered in order to check out of the visit.
- If you submit Mileage for miles traveled within a visit for a client, add a Note to your Transportation/Errands/etc. task explaining where you traveled so that it can be verified.
- Click OK after entering the note.
- After all tasks and task notes have been entered, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save to complete task documentation.
NOTE: All required tasks that are not completed MUST have a note detailing why it wasn’t complete.
