OBJECTIVE: This article provides information on rules for approving visits in AlayaCare.
The rules below should be followed in order to approve visit correctly in either Visit Verification or Visit Approval tools. Reference: AlayaCare: Approving Visits
Rules for approving visits in AlayaCare
Visits with no violations
Visits with no violations found will be automatically approved and move on to the Approve & Rejected tab.
Visits with violations
Confirm that you understand the reason for the violation and resolve the violation by providing the reason, resolution, and explanatory comment in the Exceptions field(s) before approving for the appropriate amount of time.
Cancelled / On Hold Visits
Include the correct cancel code and reason, Approve for 0 hours. For Visits that should have been cancelled but were not, cancel first, push back to Not Approved, Approve for 0 hours.
Vacant visit will not appear in Visit Verification for approval. Vacant visits must be routinely rejected in Workforce Management > Vacant Visits. Reference: AlayaCare: Rejecting Vacant Visits in Workforce Management
