OBJECTIVE: This article provides instructions on how to reset a password in HHAeXchange mobile app.
1. Open the app and navigate to the Login screen. Tap Forgot Password?.
2. Enter the Email Address or Phone Number associated with the account. This is where the temporary password will be sent. Tap Reset Password to receive an email from info@hhaexchange.com.
3. Once you receive the Temporary Password email from info@hhaexchange.com, COPY the Temporary Password. Go back to the main log in page and enter your username and PASTE the Temporary Password in the Password field and hit Login. (The Temporary Password is case sensitive).
NOTE
- Temporary password email may take a few minutes to come in. If you trigger a temporary password multiple times you will need to use the MOST recent password as the previous one will expire. Please make sure caregiver has secure connection on their phone to avoid long wait times for email.
- The temporary password is a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. It may be hard for caregivers to write down the temporary password correctly. Best practice is to have them copy and paste it on their phone to avoid entering the temporary password incorrectly.
4. The Change Password screen appears.
a. Enter the temporary password in the Current Password field.
b. Enter a new password in the New Password field.
c. Enter the new password again in the Re-Enter New Password field.
d. Tap Confirm.
