Program Overview
What is the Help at Home Community Foundation?
The Help at Home Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established in 2023. Committed to supporting and enriching the lives of caregivers, clients, and communities, the foundation aims to create comprehensive support systems for home care employees and their communities. By fostering strong connections and providing valuable resources, the foundation strives to build communities where individuals feel connected, supported, and valued.
What is the Support Fund?
The Support Fund provides financial assistance to home care employees who experience personal financial hardships. These hardships can arise from a range of circumstances, including unexpected medical expenses, emergency home repairs, essential utility bills, or other critical financial obligations.
Is the Support Fund different from the Cares Fund?
Yes. The Support Fund replaces the Help at Home Cares Fund. The review and management of the fund is handled internally, rather than by a third party, allowing us more opportunity to help our team in times of need.
