OBJECTIVE: This article provides instructions on how to log into Workday as a Caregiver Pre-Hire.
NOTE: Users can register, log in, and access Workday through any browser on a desktop or a mobile phone.
After completing Background Consent Form, Caregiver pre-hires will receive an email and text message prompting them to log into Workday. Once they receive the email or text message, follow the instructions below to complete registration:
1. Open “Help at Home Workday Account” message and click the link to navigate to Workday. Make note of the username provided in the email.
2. You will be directed to the Workday Login page. Click Caregivers to set up your account.
3. Log in with the Username and temporary Password provided in the email.
NOTE: Temporary Password is the word Care! + the last 4 digits of your phone number. (Example: Care!0918).
4. Once logged in, create a new Password and click Set Up. The password must include:
- At least 9 characters
- A lowercase letter
- An uppercase letter
- A number
- A symbol or special character
- No parts of your username
- Does not include your first name
- Does not include your last name
- Password can’t be the same as your last 10 passwords
3. Once logged in, click the Workday app to start pre-boarding activities.
Things to remember:
- Once the registration message is sent, Caregiver pre-hires have 7 days to complete registration.
- After logging into Workday, a 2-hour user session is started. After 2 hours, the session timeout is reached, and the pre-hire will be asked to re-enter password to continue using Workday.
